Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, and Zac Brown to play show in support of the Gulf Coast

Jimmy-Buffett-and-Kenny-ChesneyImage Credit: Steve Jennings/; Mark Dye/PR PhotosCMT has announced plans to broadcast a “musical celebration” on July 1 in support of those affected by the oil spill disaster. The show is called Jimmy Buffett & Friends Live from the Gulf Coast and will feature Buffett, Zac Brown, Kenny Chesney, Sonny Landreth, and other, to be announced, performers. The 90 minute show will be broadcast at 8pm ET/PT from the beach at Gulf Shores, Ala.

Obviously, the state of the Gulf Coast is a subject very close to Buffett’s heart. What do you think about him getting involved. Will you be tuning in?
