Lunchtime Poll: Are you offended by Pam Anderson's PETA ad?

The city of Montreal has deemed Pamela Anderson’s latest PETA campaign too sexist. Wild animal Pam fights back: “I didn’t think that Canada would be so puritanical…In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas – is that next?” Yeah. I’m sure that is next.

I really shouldn’t say this (which is a ridiculous thing to say if the sentence is about to continue), but

the cow logo immediately makes me think “meat industry,” like in a “buy products from the meat industry” type of way. That tiny heart in the middle is just really hard to see. I notice that there are words surrounding the cow and heart, but who has the time to read these days?

Darren will take over Lunchtime Poll for the next two weeks, while I’m on vacation. It’ll be as tough as a well-done rump roast to get through it, but who knows – you might even get a topic that doesn’t fall under Total Trash!
