Ken Tucker’s pick Work of Art (Bravo, Wednesdays, 10 p.m.)
The art world gets the Project Runway treatment as fledgling painters, sculptors, and performance artists get crafty. I love the way Art reduces thousands of years of art history to a competition in which contestants call each other out for doing ”typical art-school crap.”
Jennifer Armstrong’s pick
Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family, Tuesdays, 8 p.m.) Based on Sara Shepard’s books about four teens who receive haunting mean-girl texts from their supposedly dead friend, the layered mystery has me hooked (and the parade of relentless prettiness doesn’t hurt). It’s Gossip Girl meets Desperate Housewives.
Lynette Rice’s pick
Say Yes to the Dress (TLC, Fridays, 9 p.m.)
Regretting that heinous sack you donned for your spring wedding? Prepare to second-guess yourself silly with Say Yes to the Dress — TLC’s addictive confection following not-so-budget-conscious shoppers at Manhattan’s Kleinfeld Bridal.
Jeff Jensen’s pick
The Good Guys (Fox, Mondays, 9 p.m.)
Bradley Whitford is a scene-chewing blast as a lovably tactless, washed-up Dallas detective. Colin Hanks, as his by-the-book partner, is the perfect straight man. Extra points for the spinning-gun-chamber flashback device, well-written rogues, and rockin’ punk-pop theme song.
