All Night Long

All Night Long

Genre: Rock

Buckcherry crank out slick, sleazy repackagings of Aerosmith and AC/DC, then reach for redemption with sensitive modern-rock odes to love and hope on All Night Long. They’ve been doing it for more than a decade, sometimes pretty competently (see: ”Crazy Bitch” and ”Sorry” from 2006’s 15). But their fifth disc is a formulaic whiff, from the hammy more-cowbell bacchanal ”All Night Long” to the brain-dead ”Kumbaya” moment ”Our World.” C+
