Duets are hot. Just look at the current pop charts: “Airplanes,” B.o.B.’s collaboration with Hayley Williams; “Love the Way You Lie,” Eminem’s effort with Rihanna; and “I Like It,” which brings Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull together.

To celebrate that, in a special section of this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly, our esteemed music critic Leah Greenblatt counted down her Top 15 Most Surprising Duets, ranging from Elton John and Eminem singing “Stan” at the 2001 Grammys to Nelly and Tim McGraw’s “Over and Over” back in 2004. In that spirit, I sat down with Leah and came up with a list of our Dream Duets—collaborations that haven’t happened yet, but totally should. And we recorded the whole thing, for your viewing pleasure. (Leah and I make a pretty dreamy duet, too, if I do say myself!)

The photo here gives you a preview of duets we’d love to see: Katy Perry and John Mayer (raunch war!); Taylor Swift and Kanye (that’s a gimme!); and Jack White and Pink (simply put: hottt). And that’s just a taste of it all: You’ll have to watch the video after the jump to get our full Top 10 Dream Duets.

So, what’d you think of the combos we contrived? Any that you loved? Hated? What are your personal suggestions for great collaborations that need to happen but haven’t? Tell us in the comments below!
