Image Credit: James Devaney/WireImage.com; Kris Connor/Getty ImagesEliot Spitzer, former New York governor and Lunchtime Poll favorite, is headlining a new show on CNN alongside Kathleen Parker, a conservative columnist with no recorded affiliation with any prostitution rings that we know of. Their show isn’t going to be like those other stuffy political shows. It’s going to be fun. Flirtatious. And maybe just a little bit…naughty? For evidence, check out this preview clip, where Spitzer and Parker adorably squabble over the name of their show (while something like the theme song from Night Court plays in the background). They’re like an old married couple from that sitcom you love!

In all seriousness, the two of them do seem to have some news-chemistry (I like Parker’s joke about The Spitzer Factor). And although Parker Spitzer doesn’t exactly look to be rewriting the rules of political tele-talk, it also looks admirably low-key (unlike, say, The Red Bow-Tie Funhouse). What do you think, PopWatchers? Will you give Parker Spitzer a chance? Will you wait until it breaks off from its parent company and becomes Sterling Parker Spitzer Pryce?
