A clip of Jennifer Aniston’s guest spot on Cougar Town’s season premiere (9:30 p.m., Wednesday, ABC) – as a flighty shrink to Courteney Cox’s Jules – hit the web today (via E! Online):

The fact that they’re former longtime co-stars – and real-life BFFs – is evident here in their perfect chemistry. In lesser hands, a spacey, incense-burning, crystal-wearing therapist might seem trite, but Aniston’s impeccable timing and delivery makes it work. (“Grayson. Fun name!”) I respectfully submit this as further evidence that: 1) Jennifer Aniston should return to TV in a showy cable role that deftly combines comedy and drama; and 2) Everyone should be watching the woefully underrated Cougar Town.
What about you, PopWatchers? Will you be watching Cougar Town on Wednesday?
