George Michael released from prison

Singer George Michael was released from an English prison today after serving half of his sentence for driving while under the influence of drugs, the AP reports. Michael (real name Georgios Panayiotou) began serving his eight-week sentence last month after he pleaded guilty to the charge in August.

His troubles stemmed from an incident in July when the singer crashed his car into a photo-developing store in London.
