Lady Gaga buys back auction items

lady-gagaImage Credit: Fred Dufour/AFP/Getty ImagesLady Gaga’s past is no longer for sale. MTV News reports that the star has intervened to buy back several items that a former manager had put up for auction through Gotta Have It! Collectibles.

The items included several rare demo CDs dating from 2002, 2005, and 2006, back when Gaga was still known as Stefani Germanotta. At least one of the discs contained early Gaga tunes that have never been heard by the public. The amount paid by Gaga’s management for the lots has not been disclosed.

These are not the first items to be pulled from the “Gotta Have Rock and Roll” auction. Last week, the FBI seized John Lennon’s 1976 application for U.S. residence before it could be sold.
