John C. Reilly joins Oscar trio in 'God of Carnage'

John C. Reilly (Cyrus) has joined Roman Polanski’s adaptation of the Tony-winning play, God of Carnage. A rep for the Oscar-nominee (Chicago) confirmed that he’d play Jodie Foster’s husband, joining Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds) in the story of two couples who collide after their sons cross paths in a violent schoolyard fracas. Though the original play was set in Brooklyn, the production will not be filmed there, as Polanski’s fugitive status prevents him from working in the United States.
