Alex Borstein, best known as the voice of Family Guy‘s Lois Griffin, has signed a major development deal with 20th Century Fox, per the Hollywood Reporter. She will develop, write, and executive produce two new TV projects, including an animated pilot and a live-action comedy pilot. Studio execs told THR that they hope Borstein will create an “off-center, comedian-centered” series like Roseanne or Seinfeld.
