Adrien Brody settles 'Giallo' suit

gialloAdrien Brody has reached a settlement with the producers of Giallo, the film he had legally blocked from a U.S. release while claiming he was still owed $640,000 for his work. The matter was settled 10 days ago, according to Hannibal Pictures’ CEO Richard Rionda Del Castro, and though financial terms have not been disclosed, Del Castro says that those issues were “resolved satisfactory for him and for us, and we’re just happy to have the matter behind us.” The agreement clears the path for Giallo, in which Brody plays an FBI agent on the trail of a serial killer, to receive a theatrical, or more likely, a DVD release, in the U.S.
