'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides': Jerry Bruckheimer explains why you need real breasts to play a mermaid -- EXCLUSIVE

Last spring, it was widely reported the casting call for mermaids on Pirates 4 included the proviso, “Must have real breasts. Do not submit if you have implants.”

“I don’t think they had breast augmentation in the 1700s,” says Bruckheimer. “So it’s natural for casting people to say, ‘We want real people.’”

Audiences will have the chance to check out the film’s enhancement-free fish women when On Stranger Tides is released on May 20.
