John Wayne Schulz, rancher and Timothy Olyphant look-alike, wowed the American Idol judges last night and became the audition phase’s buzziest hopeful. But it’s not Schulz’s first foray into the music industry. According to Billboard, Schulz released an album in 2002, when he was just 14. Sing it, cowboy!

Schulz’s 10-track album, Ropin’ Dreams, was released on Texas label BSW Records, and includes such tunes as “Angel Things,” “Rockin’ Horse,” “Put a Little Love in That Hurt,” “Love Is on Our Side,” and “Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time.” Awwww.
