'American Idol': Adam Lambert talks 'Aftermath' and his next move -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Adam Lambert performed a stunning rendition of his single, “Aftermath,” on last night’s American Idol, and after the show, the Season 8 alum gave EW an exclusive interview, discussing the song, and what to expect from him this year. “The message of the song is being honest to yourself and the people that you love,” says Lambert. “I think we’ve all had that moment in our life where we’re really intimidated about a big decision about admitting something. It’s really about taking that step.”

Proceeds from the song will go to The Trevor Project, a leading organization dedicated to suicide prevention amongst LGBTQ youth. You can buy the single exclusively at Lambert’s website.
