Nicki, Ke$ha – meet Amy Heidemann. She’s one half of Boston musical duo Karmin (the other is Nick Noonan), and she happens to rap as well as she sings. Which, as luck would have it, is very, very well.
In just three days, Karmin’s fantastic cover of Chris Brown’s “Look At Me Now” has been viewed over 560,000 times on YouTube. In it, Amy flawlessly recreates verses spit by Brown, Busta Rhymes, and Lil Wayne, while Nick backs her up on keyboard (and sings occasionally himself). Never thought a white girl could convincingly flow like Weezy? Think again:
