'Hunger Games' casts District 10 tributes

Hunger Games Marinas Hood

Famished for more Hunger Games casting? Well, look no further: Lionsgate announced on the adaptation’s Facebook page the identities of the film’s District 10 tributes. Jeremy Marinas has been cast as the unnamed quiet boy from District 10, whose most notable characteristic is his limp. Dakota Hood has been cast as the District’s unnamed female tribute.

Marinas, like many other Hunger Games tributes, has performed stunt work, for the likes of The Green Hornet and the Sherlock Holmes sequel.

He’s also had roles in series like Mortal Kombat: Legacy and The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, and even had a bit part on Community. Hood has only one credit to her name: The 2007 movie Scripture Cake: A Southern Cuisine Movie. Marinas and Hood join Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth, Paula Malcomson, Willow Shields, and several relatively unknown actors playing fellow tributes. Hunger Games, directed by Gary Ross and adapted from Suzanne Collins’ dystopian novel, will be in theaters March 23, 2012.
