Bill O'Reilly has officially given Lady Gaga his seal of approval

Breaking: Papa Bear just might be a closet Little Monster. During the “Pinheads and Patriots” segment of last night’s O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reilly named Lady Gaga a patriot – apparently, he admired the way the singer chowed down on one of Dave Letterman’s note cards during her bizarre appearance on The Late Show. “I wish I had thought of that when I was on the Letterman program,” O’Reilly declared, looking amused. “I would have done that.” Watch the video below.

O’Reilly then revealed that his next newspaper column will tackle the question of “why Lady Gaga is such a success.” Think he wrote that in 2009 and has been sitting on it ever since? Personally, I’m hoping that this clip prompts pop’s First Lady to contact Bill about a possible collaboration – doesn’t “Gaga O’Reilly” have a nice ring to it?
