Josh Duhamel tearfully talks about his connection to the North Dakota floods on 'Regis and Kelly'

I nearly broke out into an ugly cry during Josh Duhamel’s appearance on Live! With Regis and Kelly this morning. While there to promote his film Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the discussion took a serious turn when Kelly Ripa asked the actor, a North Dakota native, about the floods. (Around the three minute mark in the video below.)

“I just can’t even put words to describe it,” he said of a photo of his flooded childhood home a fan had posted on his Facebook page. When Rippa asked a visibly emotional Duhamel of the aid efforts, he had trouble finding his words and quickly wiped his eyes before continuing.

PopWatchers, people don’t cry alone in my presence. Period. But Duhamel’s raw display of emotion really got to me. Was I alone?

Click here for the Red Cross and that “super-long” web address Duhamel mentioned.
