As EW’s Ken Tucker pointed out, The Casey Anthony trial dominated television last night, and it’s looking like media frenzy isn’t likely to stop anytime soon, especially with the announcement that Barbara Walters has scored a sit down with Anthony’s lawyer Jose Baez. And, as expected, the ABC is milking the interview.

ABC’s Nightline will air a one-hour special tonight (starting at 10 p.m. ET) with more on the bombshell verdict that acquitted the Florida mom of murder and manslaughter and the aforementioned interview. A portion of the interview will also be aired on World News with Diane Sawyer at 6:30 p.m. ET, with more excerpt replays expected tomorrow on Good Morning America and The View. (Whew. I thought we’d miss it.)

Meanwhile, Dateline is also planning a special edition, set to air Friday. CNN will air an interview with Jeff Ashton — a prosecutor in the Anthony trial — on Dr. Drew’s HLN show Wednesday and the two-hour Justice for Caylee: A Nancy Grace Special on Saturday.

One network not immediately jumping on the reaction-wagon is Lifetime, home of court room drama movies that air before the court room drama is done. The network tells EW “nothing is in development” about the Anthony trial.

Tell them when you’re full, readers or they’ll just keep feeding you like a well-meaning grandmother at Christmas. Or worse, someone will try to make Casey Anthony a reality star.
