Syfy’s new scripted programming block of Alphas and Warehouse 13 got off to an impressive start Monday night.
Alphas was Syfy’s most-watched series debut in two years, the super-power ensemble drama series delivering 2.5 million viewers and a 0.9 in the adults 18-49 demo.
The season three debut of Warehouse tallied 2.3 million and 0.8 in the demo, dipping just slightly from last year. Meanwhile, over on TNT…
The Closer returned to its seventh season to a dizzying 7.2 million viewers, with Rizzoli & Isles nabbing 6.4 million. Rizzoli is down 29 percent from last year’s series opener, but that was the most-watched cable series debut of all time so we can’t exactly give them a hard time about it. Among the adult demo, TNT shows don’t quite shine as brightly as their total viewer numbers might suggest, with Closer drawing a 1.4 rating and Rizzoli a 1.2.
