After misfiring with the first G.I. Joe film, The Rise of Cobra, Paramount seems determined to call in elite reinforcements for next year’s sequel. First, the studio announced that sequel-savior Dwayne Johnson would provide some muscle, playing Roadblock. Then Wonder Woman Adrianne Palicki came aboard to play Lady Jaye. And now, Bruce Willis is in talks to play the original G.I. Joe, General Joe Colton, as initially reported by the Hollywood Reporter.

Willis has a plethora of cinematic experience in saving the world (Armegeddon), battling terrorists (Die Hard), and being literally unbreakable (Unbreakable), and he certainly has the chiseled look of man who’s seen and done it all, like Gen. Colton. But how devoted will Paramount be to Colton’s appearance? Yes, I’m asking about the hair. Colten had a thick flat-top, brown up top and gray around the ears. But rather than wrap a piece on Willis, a la Sean Connery in The Hunt for Red October, I suggest they let Willis be Willis. Bald is bad. (And by bad, I mean good.) Certainly much better than this.

Would you mind if Colton’s head was Eisenhower smooth?
