JT even appears in the video, doing very important things like repeating the word “speaker” and making a swooshing noise—plus, of course, wearing a hoodie and a face-obscuring hat. Watch it here:
Timberlake tweeted a link to the video, along with the note, "New music... if you like it pass it along." A comment on the YouTube video reading "Thumbs up if you thought JT's twitter made you think JT was releasing a new song," complete with a frowning emoticon, is attracting a number of thumbs-up signs. Which gives us cause to say "Hmm," in light of the fact that Timberlake, despite his ever-visible (inescapable?) media presence, hasn't released an album since FutureSex/LoveSounds in 2006.
What do you think, Music Mix? Does “Hoodies On, Hats Low” make you want to throw on a low brim and a zip-up, too? Or is this just more fuel for a burning desire that only that sweet, soulful Timberlake croon can satisfy?
