Pistol Annies, a tough-girl trio made up of Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley, has already impacted country music with their debut single, the sexy, slow-burning “Hell On Heels,” the first track from their album (also called Hell On Heels), due August 23.
EW now has an exclusive second dose of the Annies—”Bad Example,” a tongue-in-cheek ditty about being naughty and proud. Listen to the new track below:
"Somebody had to set a bad example," the girls confess, "Teach all the prim-and-propers what not to do." The song, a sly complement to Miranda Lambert's latest solo single "Baggage Claim,” is part of a contest happening on the Pistol Annies’ official website.
What do you think, readers—will you be packing these Pistols next week?
