The Good Wife’s streak of having prominent actors play guest judges on the show continues. This time, the CBS drama has tapped Harvey Fierstein for an appearance.

The gravel-voiced actor best known for Torch Song Trilogy, Fierstein is playing a liberal, ex-hippie type who marches to a different drummer. He’ll preside over a case Alicia (Julianna Margulies) is working on with a sharp eye, but rather laid-back speech.

Expect to see Fierstein, who was also in films like Independence Day, in The Good Wife’s fourth episode this season, with the show returning on its new night and time – Sunday, Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. The show previously booked Lisa Edelstein in a recurring role.
