'Grimm': So a cop walks into a fairy tale... -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Happily ever after? Not so fast! That crossroads is exactly where Grimm snatches unexpected Nick Burckhardt (David Giuntoli) and plunges him into his true calling – becoming a supernatural cop. It’s a good gig for him, since he’s a descendant of the brothers Grimm who sees Devil’s Advocate-style faces on everyday folk that betray their underlying natures. In an exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peek video, check out how the spooky new riff on procedurals asks, “What if the Grimm fairy tales actually came to life and were living amongst us right now?” Executive producer Sean Hayes (yes, that Sean Hayes) and co-stars Reggie LeeSasha Roiz, and Bitsie Tulloch aren’t the only recognizable names on the project. Creators David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf were behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X Files, Angel – a.k.a. the supernatural holy trinity. Who better to take Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Hansel and Gretel and turn them on their heads? “This is not your average cop show,” quipped Giuntoli.
