Your favorite high-pitched frenetic Internet sensation will soon be back on TV just in time for Halloween. Yes, it’s Fred! And this time, the very child-like character tries to convince the whole school that the new music teacher is a vampire in Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred (Oct. 22, 8 p.m.) on Nickelodeon.
Fred’s creator/portrayer, Lucas Cruikshank, stars alongside Modern Family’s Ariel Winter, WWE’s John Cena, and Victorious’ Daniella Monet. In the new movie, Fred has to deal with his favorite music teacher being replaced by Mr. Devlin (Seth Morris); finding out that his archenemy, Kevin (Jake Weary), is Mr. Devlin’s star pupil; and the fact that Mr. Devlin moves in next door and starts dating his mom. As Fred would say, Oh my gammit!
