'American Horror Story' ratings dip for second episode

Horror Story Ep 2

(FX)

American Horror Story ratings? Yes, they went down, but not a scary amount (at least in the adult demo).

AHS slipped 14 percent among adults 18-49 to a 1.4 rating compared to its premiere last week. Among total audience, the decline was steeper – down 22 percent to 2.5 million viewers. You expect a second episode to typically drop between 8 and 14 percent, give or take, from its premiere.

Also Wednesday night, USA’s Psych returned to 3 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in the demo. That’s pretty good; the drama rose 8 percent from its fall premiere last year.
