The Tumblr site Mouth-Taped-Shut.com has been posting some fascinating behind-the-scenes images from the set of this December’s big-budget adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, possibly as part of Sony’s officially-unofficial viral marketing campaign. (See also: The suspiciously well-lit bootleg teaser.) The latest post presents a striking new poster image for the film. Eschewing the nude-tastic aesthetic of the previous one-sheet, the new poster simultaneously recalls a ’40s noir and the album cover for the Rolling Stones’ Hot Rocks. Whether it’s studio-produced, fan-made, or a studio-produced imitation of fan-made product, it’s an interesting tease for the film. Check out the full-sized image below.
