There were always two Marilyn Monroes: the real and the fake, the little-girl lost and the whispery vixen. In the new poster for My Week With Marilyn, the drama set during the making of the 1957 movie, The Prince and Showgirl, Michelle Williams somehow manages to capture both in one snapshot. Her blue eyes are tilted upwards, conveying vulnerability, while a delicate finger traces her lower lip, evoking playful flirtation. The more you look at the photo, though, the more you’re not sure about her intentions. It has a Mona Lisa quality to it. Perhaps we’re supposed to see what we desire.
