The unholy trio of writer Neil Gaiman, Magnetic Fields genius Stephin Merritt, and Moby helped Dresden Doll Amanda Palmer bring “Science Fiction/Double Feature” to The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson last night.
The “jam,” as we used to call it, was distinguished by Merritt’s marvelous baritone, and the sight of Gaiman, zombie-like behind a piano, showing less movement than Craig’s robot skeleton sidekick Geoff Peterson.

Gaiman’s plinked three notes were greeted with cheers each time he executed them.
It was a good night in late, late shows, what with Heidi Klum bowling with pumpkins over on Jimmy Fallon as well.
