I love America. July Fourth, freedom, apple pie, all those things. But (speaking of pie), I clearly don’t love America as much as Mena Suvari. As a friend of mine on Facebook astutely pointed out today, her guest appearance as the Black Dahlia on American Horror Story last night brings the grand total of “American” entries on her resume to six: American Pie, American BeautyAmerican Virgin, American Pie 2, American Horror Story, and American Reunion.

That is a lot of red, white, and blue. But oddly, that list isn’t enough to top her American Pie co-star Eugene Levy’s “American” hits (opting in to all the American Pie franchise movies bumped him up a few U.S. of A’s).

Then again, Levy has about 30 years on Suvari, so there’s time for her. Wet Hot American Summer sequel, anyone?
