The CW’s Ringer won’t return with new episodes until Jan 31, but here’s something to look forward to: the Sarah Michelle Gellar show has cast Matthew Del Negro (The Sopranos, The United States of Tara) in the recurring role of Agent Grady Torrance. He will cross paths with Agent Machado (Nestor Carbonell) and is Machado’s nemesis at the bureau. Agent G is described as cocky, slick, and smooth – and, we’re told, will handle his new investigation according to his own agenda. His first appearance is scheduled for the March 6 episode.

Del Negro was most recently seen on TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles, where he recurred as cocky but harmless grease monkey Giovanni, who was led to believe Jane (Angie Harmon) and Maura (Sasha Alexander) are lesbian lovers so he’d stop hitting on them.
