Tim Allen’s stay just got extended a bit on ABC this season: The network has ordered two more episodes of Last Man Standing.

That brings the total episode count to 24. The multi-camera family comedy created by Jack Burditt (30 Rock) stars Allen, Hector Elizondo and Nancy Travis.

It has averaged 10.6 million viewers and a 3.1 rating/9 share in adults 18-49.

Meanwhile, the freshman comedy has started to step up its stunting in an effort to attract more eyeballs to the traditional comedy. Besides casting Nick Jonas as the baby daddy of Tim’s grandson, the show also recruited Kim Kardashian for an episode. Jamie-Lynn Sigler (The Sopranos) also guest-starred as Elizondo’s daughter.
