Warner Bros. shuffles 2012/2013 schedule: 'Rock of Ages' and 'Jack the Giant Killer' pushed back, 'Arthur & Lancelot' dropped

EW has confirmed that Warner Bros. has postponed several high-profile projects on its 2012-13 schedule, starting with Rock of Ages, in which Tom Cruise makes his musical debut as licentious rock star Stacee Jaxx. The film, originally slated for June 1, will release two weeks later on June 15. The studio issued a more dramatic push-back for Jack the Giant Killer 3D, Bryan Singer’s fairy tale redux starring Nicholas Hoult and Ian McShane. Jack will now drop nine months after its original release date on March 22, 2013. Fans of Kit Harrington (Game of Thrones) and Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) will be disappointed to learn that their star turn in Arthur & Lancelot – the Medieval epic from Wedding Crashers helmer David Dobkin (also a producer on Jack) – has been removed from Warner Bros.’ schedule indefinitely.
