Tracy Morgan hospitalized after collapse at Sundance

No laughing matter: Tracy Morgan was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, on Sunday. The controversial 30 Rock star reportedly lost consciousness after attending Sunday’s Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards, where he was being honored with the Spotlight Initiative Award. Morgan collapsed after his speech and was taken to Park City Medical Center, where his current condition is unknown. While reports claimed that the actor-comedian, whose film Predisposed was screening at Sundance, was “out of control, yelling and falling onto the ground” during the awards show dinner, a spokeswoman for the hospital told People that no drugs or alcohol were found in his system upon medical evaluation. Morgan’s rep told EW in a release that “Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100 percent false” and that the 43-year-old collapsed “from a combination of exhaustion and altitude.”

The comedian has had some health problems in the past: Last year, Morgan missed several episodes of 30 Rock after undergoing a kidney transplant.
