ATO Pictures has acquired the North American distribution rights to Shadow Dancer, director James Marsh’s lean, gripping thriller about an Irish woman who reluctantly agrees to betray her Republican family after she’s captured by the British authorities following a failed terrorist act. Andrea Riseborough (W.E.) stars as the conflicted woman and Clive Owen is the MI5 handler who develops a conscience when his asset becomes expendable.

Gillian Anderson, Aidan Gillen and Domhnall Gleeson co-star.
