Indianapolis police are planning new restrictions to access of its Super Bowl Village in the wake of a 200,000-person crowd Friday night. In a news release this afternoon, Department of Public Safety officials reported 22 arrests (most for public intoxication) and 13 injuries, none of them life-threatening.

Much of the Friday night crowd had turned out to see the band LMFAO, who performed a free outdoor concert. Visitors reported pushing and shoving, and a police car was reportedly damaged when people stood on top of it to see the stage. Police were forced to close some surrounding streets to traffic in order to relieve the overpopulated Village. [NY Times]
