Lisa Kudrow has already shared her wisdom with Courteney Cox on Web Therapy, and now another one of her Friends is set to make an appearance in a sure-to-be-delightfully-awkward role.

EW has learned exclusively that David Schwimmer will appear on four upcoming episodes of the Showtime series, playing Newell Miller, the traumatized son of a college professor with whom Fiona (Kudrow) once shared a “romantic encounter.” The kicker? Newell’s troubles stem from witnessing the whole thing. (Ewwwww.)

The story line finds Newell approaching Fiona on the advice of his therapist after realizing he’s suffered troubling lasting effects since the incident. (He’s only attracted to women who look like Fiona.) He now hopes to find closure, but his therapist believes the only way to do so might be to reenact the traumatizing event with Fiona. You’ll have to wait until summer, when the series returns to the network, to get her reaction to that one.

Schwimmer’s appearance will mark the second time a Friends alum has appeared on Web Therapy. Cox previously appeared in in the eighth episode of the first season as an Internet psychic who’d lost her powers.

Web Therapy began as an LStudio web series before being picked up by Showtime. The network announced in December it would air a second, 10-episode season.
