I Hate My Teenage Daughter is so bad, Fox is cancelling it twice.

First the network changed its plan to pair the sitcom with American Idol on Wednesdays, pulling the show from its April schedule. Now Fox has yanked the two remaining Teenage Daughter episodes from Tuesdays where it was giving a poor lead-in to Fox’s flagship comedy New Girl. Last night, New Girl hit a series low in the ratings after Teenage Daughter delivered a mere 2.9 million viewers and a 1.2 in the adult demo.

Starting March 27, Fox will air repeats of Firefly to serve as New Girl’s lead-in — just checking to make sure you were paying attention: Starting March 27, Fox will air Raising Hope repeats to serve as New Girl’s lead in.
