Broadcast TV ratings have seen rough sledding lately. Season lows, series lows, week-to-week drops. It’s a real downer. But the numbers are the numbers, so…

First, a layer of good news: ABC’s Body of Proof (10 million viewers, 2.1 adults 18-49 rating) popped a whooping 50 percent thanks to the return of the Dancing With the Stars results show resuming as its lead in. Fox’s Breaking In (2.8 million, 1.4) was up 8 percent, though still ranked last in its time slot. CBS’ NCIS: LA (14.7 million, 2.9) was up a tick.

And then there’s the rest:

The debut of the Dancing results show (15.3 million, 3.0) was down 30 percent from its spring premiere last year.

CBS’ NCIS (18.2 million, 3.4) was steady and Unforgettable (10.4 million, 2.0) was down a tick.

Fox’s Raising Hope (3.8 million, 1.5) was down 6 percent, New Girl (4.9 million, 2.5) was down 7 percent to a new low even without I Hate My Teenage Daughter stinking up the joint.

NBC’s Biggest Loser (5.6 million, 1.9) was down 17 percent to a series low. Fashion Star (5.1 million, 1.5) dropped 17 percent too.

CW’s 90210 (1.4 million, 0.7) was flat in the demo and Ringer (1.1 million, 0.5) was up a tenth.
