The Woman in Black is coming back! British studio Hammer Films and author Susan Hill will collaborate once more on Woman in Black: Angels of Death.
“We are proud and honored to be working with Susan again on The Woman in Black: Angels Of Death, a wonderful new tale every bit as atmospheric and terrifying as its predecessor The Woman in Black,” said Simon Oakes, the Vice-Chairman of Exclusive Media and President & CEO of Hammer Films.
Though Daniel Radcliffe starred in the first installment, it seems unlikely that he will be able to reprise his role in the next one: It picks up 40 years later and will center on a couple who, like Radcliffe’s character, experience the supernatural horrors that occur at the haunted Eel Marsh House. The script will be developed by story editor Jon Croker.
The horror film, which opened in February, was the highest-grossing British horror film of the past 20 years, and has banked $120 million worldwide.
