Fox shifted Bones to Monday nights and enjoyed slightly higher ratings for the show and the network.
For a highly anticipated episode where Bones becomes a mom, the drama had 8.2 million viewers and a 2.5 adult demo rating. That improves on Fox’s average in the hour and on Bones‘ typical Thursday night draw. At 9 p.m., House (6.7 million, 2.2) was up 5 percent.
Facing heavy competition from NCAA basketball on CBS, the first week of live performances on NBC The Voice (10.7 million, 4.1) fell 9 percent. Smash (6.1 million, 2.2), however, perked up a tenth.
ABC’s Dancing With the Stars (16.5 million, 2.8) was down 13 percent from last week and Castle (12.1 million, 2.2) was down 4 percent.
