Ashton Kutcher may be coming back to Two and a Half Men, but the comedy’s longtime showrunner is stepping down.

Co-creator and showrunner Lee Aronsohn is departing from his leadership role on the series, sources confirm. He’ll become an executive consultant on the CBS show. Instead co-creator Chuck Lorre will co-run the series along with executive producers Don Reo and Jim Patterson (yes, it will take three veteran comedy producers to showrun a tenth season of Men sex jokes). Eddie Gorodetsky will continue as an executive producer.

The shakeup is contingent on the show getting a renewal, which is not yet official from CBS, but is fully expected now that the cast has signed new one-year agreements.
