NBC just ordered another comedy for fall as it prepares for its fall upfront presentation in New York Monday. The latest pickup is called Guys With Kids, which focuses on three thirtysomething guys who enjoy the adventures of parenting despite the fact they haven’t grown up themselves.
The comedy stars Jesse Bradford, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Tempestt Bledsoe and Sara Rue.
Earlier, NBC announced that it has renewed Law & Order: SVU for a 14th season, while picking up a new procedural called Chicago Fire. The network has also greenlit a Matthew Perry comedy, Go On, about a charming sportscaster who attends therapy after a personal tragedy; a White House comedy from a former Obama speechwriter; a J.J. Abrams apocalyptic drama project Revolution; Glee creator Ryan Murphy’s gay family comedy The New Normal; and an Anne Heche comedy called Save Me.
