Jane Lynch goes to Washington.

The Glee star, whose character Sue Sylvester had a failed Senate run this past season on Glee, is dipping her toes in the D.C. waters again, narrating a pro-Obama campaign ad focusing on LGBT rights. The documentary-style commercial highlights the president’s achievements over the past three years, including ordering hospitals that receive federal funding to give same-sex couples visitation rights, ending Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, and recently coming out with full support for same-sex marriage. “You’re going to need a strong advocate in the White House,” says Obama. “I am that strong advocate.”
