All the main Kardashians were on Oprah’s Next Chapter last night, and while the group is on hours and hours of E!, the family really didn’t have enough to say to fill a whole hour-long chat.

In one segment, Kim — because she’s serious — wore a tan dress and natural-ish makeup to explain to Oprah how she’s “totally growing up” since her disastrous marriage. She spoke about how she now surrounds herself with older people, and coyly smiled when asked about whether Kanye West is “the new fairy tale.”

In another segment, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe (plus Rob!) discussed their beauty, and tried to make the point that they are bringing Middle Eastern looks to prominence. Rob shared that he thought the sisters were “great role models for women,” a point that is, at best, debatable.

Elsewhere in the chat, the kids talked about “momager” Kris Jenner, as well as their thoughts on their celebrity. FYI: Kourtney claims she still isn’t comfortable being famous.

Oprah prides herself on her in-depth interviews, but this seemed like a pretty shameless ratings grab for the struggling OWN. In a Facebook post earlier this week, Oprah commented, “Ok my friends I had the longest interviewing session I can ever recall, talking to ALLLLLLLL the Kardashians. I had never met them, nor seen the show. I did a full on Kardashian Kram in preparation, watching major shows from every season. I genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon.”

She couldn’t find out during an hour-long chat, however. Next Sunday will feature part 2 of the interview, and will include sit-down interviews with Khloe’s husband Lamar, as well as Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott. Get your DVR ready — Oprah says Scott and Lamar were two of the crew that impressed her the most.
