Who’s taking the stage at Comic-Con for HBO’s twin supernatural hits Game of Thrones and True Blood?
Here’s the plan, just announced by HBO:
Game of Thrones panel in Hall H will be moderated for the second year by George R.R. Martin. Martin is the author of the bestselling fantasy book series A Song of Ice and Fire, which the HBO drama is based on, and also serves as a co-executive producer on the series. The panel will include: Carolyn Strauss, executive producer of Game of Thrones, and cast members (in alphabetical order): Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark) and Richard Madden (Robb Stark). Executive producers David Benioff & D.B. Weiss will not be in attendance, as they are in production in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
So, yes, Theon. Perhaps he’ll be able to give some insight as to his character’s future in season three, something that’s perplexing even the most devoted readers of Martin’s novels giving Theon’s path in the books.
Now here’s True Blood, which is moderated by EW’s very own Tim Stack.
True Blood panel in Ballroom 20 will once again be moderated by Tim Stack of Entertainment Weekly. Panelists include: Alan Ball, creator and executive producer, and cast members (in alphabetical order): Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam Swynford de Beaufort), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds), Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse), Joe Manganiello (Alcide Herveaux), Christopher Meloni (Roman Zimojic), Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton), Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse), Alexander Skarsgard (Eric Northman), Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton) and Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby).
