Oh, you crafty Big Brother producers! We see what you did there. By bringing back four returning players, making them coaches for a month, and then turning them loose in the game, all you essentially did was make sure your four most famous people in the house had complete and total immunity in the game for half the season. Even for a show that is not exactly known for fairness and integrity, that is beyond laughable. So former Survivor All-Star, current podcaster, and EW live chatter extraordinaire Rob Cesternino calls in and laughs about it with me on the latest edition of the InsideTV Podcast. Also up for discussion: Is Ian a poor man’s Cochran? Is Shane Tom Cruise on a bad hair day? AND COULD JOE TALK ANY LOUDER?!? We’ll break down the highs and lows of the current Big Brother season starting at 12 minutes in.
But first… (as they say on Big Brother), I am joined by Melissa Maerz to discuss TV’s other BB — Breaking Bad. What’s up with Walt acting like a big-time jerk? When will Hank finally find out about his brother-in-law? And how long until misery-prone Jesse becomes completely undone again? We throw out some theories on what is turning out to be another stellar season of the AMC drama.
