Ryan Murphy (@MrRPMurphy) is quite the high-impact tweeter.

Since joining the social networking site just two weeks ago, the showrunner has sent Gleeks’ hearts aflutter with a deleted Kurt/Blaine scene, as well as American Horror Story scoop and his secret wishes (Sample tweet: “A big GLEE goal this year: a Madonna/Elton John mashup. #gayhatchetburying”).

This afternoon, he dropped another present for Glee fans: A deleted Mike/Tina scene that has some PDA(!) and a heart-to-heart with Mike’s parents. For fans who were disappointed with the duo’s lack of screen time this season, Murphy feels your pain. “One of the many heart-breaking losses when an episode is 15 minutes long. #criminallyneglectedcouples” he tweeted along with the video.

Check out the scene below — and be prepared to tear up:

Glee’s fourth season premieres on Fox September 13.
